Researching M&A transactions
Transaction-focused consulting firm seeks part time help (30-50 hours per fiscal quarter) in the performance of internet-based research on / for deals (mergers & acquisitions) within a particular vertical market (information technology professional services). Specific transactions (60-120 per quarter) requiring research will be provided by employer.

Responsibilities include; 1) the identification of corporate press releases and SEC documents providing information related to each individual transaction, 2) the compilation of spreadsheets detailing transactional data, and 3) the written summarization of individual transactions (deal terms etc).

An ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and prior web-based research experience. Prior experience in finance / accounting and IT is desired but not required. Work can be done remotely. Projects are due at the end of each calendar quarter.
